The MLBB Super League Myanmar Season 4 (MSL MM S4) brings ten teams together for another chapter of top-level Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition in Myanmar.

Running from August 28 to October 25, the season combines a Regular Season, Last Chance stage, Play-ins and Playoffs into one extended journey toward the national title.

A total prize pool of K120,000,000 MMK is on the line, while the eventual champion will also earn qualification to MCT SEA 2026.

Ten teams begin the journey

MSL Myanmar Season 4 features ten teams competing through the Regular Season:

  • Yangon Galacticos
  • TEC BG
  • Team 7
  • Mythic SEAL
  • D Family
  • Falcon Esports
  • AI Esports
  • Team Secret
  • Wyverns Esports
  • Paladins

Eight teams entered through invitation, while two additional teams earned their positions through qualifying competitions.

With only eight teams able to continue beyond the Regular Season, every series contributes to determining not only who survives, but where each team begins the next phase.

A Single Round Robin Regular Season

The Regular Season runs from August 28 to October 10 and uses a Single Round Robin format.

Every team faces the rest of the field once, with all matches played as Best of 3.

9th–10th PlaceEliminated

Unlike a traditional system where all qualified teams immediately enter the same bracket, Regular Season placement determines how far each team must travel before reaching the final Playoffs.

Placement changes everything

The Top 8 teams survive the Regular Season, but their paths forward are very different.

The teams finishing first and second earn the strongest advantage, advancing directly to the Play-ins Finals.

Third and fourth place move into the Play-ins Semifinals.

Teams ranked from fifth to eighth must first survive an additional Last Chance stage.

This makes every position valuable.

Reaching the Top 8 keeps a team's season alive, but finishing near the top can remove multiple elimination series from the road to the championship.

One final chance for the middle of the table

The Last Chance stage takes place on October 11 and features the teams finishing fifth through eighth.

Four teams enter a Single Elimination bracket, with all matches played as Best of 3.

The fifth-place team receives an additional strategic advantage by selecting its opponent from the teams ranked sixth, seventh and eighth.

The remaining two teams then face each other in the second matchup.

For the others, Season 4 ends before the Play-ins even begin.

Six teams fight through the Play-ins

The competition continues on October 17 and 18 with six teams entering the Play-ins.

Every series becomes a Best of 5, increasing the importance of draft depth, adaptation and consistency across longer matchups.

The two highest Regular Season seeds begin directly in the Play-ins Finals, while the remaining four teams must first survive the Semifinals.

The losing finalists still advance, but begin the Playoffs in the Lower Bracket with no second chance remaining.

Four teams remain for the championship

By October 24, ten teams will have been reduced to four.

The MSL Myanmar Season 4 Playoffs use a Double Elimination format, with teams entering either the Upper or Lower Bracket depending on their Play-ins results.

All Playoff series before the Grand Final are played as Best of 5.

The final two teams will then meet in a Best of 7 Grand Final to determine the Season 4 champion.

Annual Map Change adds another variable

MSL Myanmar Season 4 also introduces another layer of adaptation through the Annual Map Change system.

Every game can feature one of several battlefield variations, changing familiar areas of the map and forcing teams to adjust their movement and decision-making.

The available map changes include:

  • Dangerous Grass — additional bushes appear around key areas
  • Broken Walls — new openings create alternative routes across the battlefield
  • Flying Cloud — platforms near base help respawned heroes return to action
  • Expanding Rivers — expanded river areas provide additional movement speed

For professional teams, these changes add another strategic variable beyond hero drafts and opponent preparation.

Knowing how to react to the battlefield itself becomes part of the competition.

K120 million on the line

MSL Myanmar Season 4 features a total prize pool of K120,000,000 MMK.

The financial reward accompanies a tournament structure designed to test teams across several different competitive environments.

Regular Season consistency determines positioning.

The Last Chance stage tests survival.

The Play-ins reward teams capable of performing in longer series.

And the final Double Elimination bracket decides which roster can remain standing when the pressure reaches its highest point.

The champion advances to MCT SEA

Winning MSL Myanmar Season 4 also opens the next stage of the competitive journey.

The champion will earn qualification to MCT SEA 2026, connecting Myanmar's national league with the wider Southeast Asian competitive ecosystem.

The pathway is clear:

MSL Myanmar Season 4 → Champion → MCT SEA 2026

For the eventual winner, lifting the domestic trophy will therefore be only one part of the reward.

The next challenge begins against competition from beyond Myanmar.
