MTC Türkiye Championship

Eight of Türkiye's top MLBB teams are competing for the MTC Season 8 title, a $40,000 prize pool and two opportunities to represent the region at the M8 World Championship.

The MTC Türkiye Championship Season 8 (MTC S8) has begun, opening the final domestic chapter before the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship arrives in Türkiye.

Eight of the country's strongest teams will compete from September through November for the national title, a share of the $40,000 prize pool and, most importantly, the opportunity to represent Türkiye at the M8 World Championship.

This season carries additional significance for the region.

M8 will conclude in Istanbul in January 2027, making Season 8 the final MTC campaign before the biggest MLBB tournament in the world arrives on home soil.

Eight teams enter the competition

MTC Season 8 brings together eight organisations from across the Turkish competitive scene:

  • Aurora Gaming
  • FUT Esports
  • Bushido Wildcats
  • PCIFIC Esports
  • DIA Ozarox
  • Boostgate Esports
  • IDA Esports
  • Dark Passage

The field combines established organisations, international experience and teams looking to establish themselves among Türkiye's elite.

Aurora Gaming and FUT Esports enter the season after representing Türkiye internationally at the 2026 Esports World Cup, while several other organisations arrive with an opportunity to reshape the domestic hierarchy.

Six weeks of Regular Season competition

The first stage of MTC Season 8 runs from September 12 to October 18.

All eight teams compete in a Double Round Robin, facing every opponent twice during the Regular Season.

Every match is played as a Best of 3.

The scoring system also rewards teams based on how convincingly they win their series.

2–0 Win3 points
2–1 Win2 points
1–2 Loss1 point
0–2 Loss0 points

This means every individual game can have an impact on the standings.

Even in defeat, taking a series to three games can provide a valuable point during the race for Playoff qualification.

Six teams continue to the Playoffs

Once the Double Round Robin concludes, only the Top 6 teams will remain in contention for the championship.

The bottom two teams will be eliminated, while the six strongest Regular Season performers advance to the MTC Season 8 Playoffs.

The Playoffs run from October 24 to November 7 and move the tournament into a Double Elimination structure.

With a Lower Bracket available, one defeat does not necessarily end a team's championship run.

But once a team suffers its second loss in the Playoffs, its Season 8 journey is over.

The final road to M8

The stakes extend far beyond the MTC trophy.

Season 8 determines Türkiye's representatives for the M8 World Championship, connecting domestic competition directly to the biggest stage in MLBB esports.

The MTC Season 8 Champion will earn direct qualification to the M8 World Championship.

The runner-up will receive another opportunity through the M8 Wildcard.

The path is clear:

MTC Season 8 → Grand Final → M8 World Championship

For both Grand Finalists, reaching the final series therefore guarantees that their international journey will continue.

How they reach M8 will depend on one final result.

Aurora Gaming enters with history behind them

Season 8 also begins with a clear benchmark at the top of Turkish MLBB.

Aurora Gaming enters the competition after becoming the first organisation to win three consecutive MTC championships.

Their Season 7 victory was followed by an international appearance at the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup, where Aurora topped a group featuring major international opposition including Team Liquid and ONIC.

Season 8 now gives the rest of the Turkish field another opportunity to challenge that domestic run.

A fourth consecutive title would extend Aurora's streak.

Stopping it would create a new champion at the most important moment of the year.

Türkiye prepares for a home World Championship

The timing of MTC Season 8 gives the competition a different atmosphere from previous editions.

For the first time, the M Series will conclude in Europe when M8 arrives in Istanbul in January 2027.

That means the teams fighting through MTC are not only attempting to qualify for a World Championship.

They are fighting for the opportunity to compete on the biggest MLBB stage in front of their home region.

For Turkish players, organisations and fans, the road to M8 begins domestically before eventually returning to Istanbul.

$40,000 on the line

MTC Season 8 features a total $40,000 prize pool, continuing the growth of Türkiye's professional MLBB ecosystem.

The reward accompanies a season that connects domestic success directly with international qualification.

For the eight organisations entering the competition, there are several objectives ahead:

Reach the Top 6.

Survive the Double Elimination Playoffs.

Reach the Grand Final.

And earn the right to carry Türkiye into M8.
